A First Friday concept unique to San Diego, MindAstronaut partners with EVE Encinitas to highlight the best cinematic works from filmmakers of all genres and locations globally. The two-part event consists of an art exhibit where local artists participate in a pop-up gallery, and curated performances keep in theme with each featured film. 

7:00 - 7:45p: Guest Arrival / Art Exhibit

7:45 - 8:00p: Welcome / Cacao Ceremony
8:00 - 9:30p: Ceremonial Screening / Sound Activation
9:30p: Filmmaker Q&A

Due to the nature of this experience being in a theatre style environment, and in efforts to create a solid container during the film's screening, we ask that all ticket holders arrive by 7:45pm. Tickets will be available at the door for purchase until 7:45pm, at which time the doors close.

February’s featured filmmakers, ANCIENT FUTURE is brought to you by two people who are here to revolutionize the entertainment industry: Directors / Producers Azrya Cohen and Adam Roa. The short film, titled ANCIENT FUTURE, starring Azrya Cohen, is an example of what it looks like when visions are channeled with pristine intentionality to ensure that media becomes medicine, thus enabling AWARENESS / COMPASSION / CHOICE, rather than mindless distraction, violence and separation, as is currently the case in most mainstream entertainment.

It is our belief that media (films/tv, digital content, performance art, AR, VR), has the power to “de-program” the collective narrative of fear and separation and imprint humanity with a blueprint for enabling sovereign unity through providing tangible tools for harnessing the power of free will.

The power of storytelling is undeniable. Azrya and Adam truly feel that the revolution looks like one of artistic expression and divine beauty. We will not anchor in Heaven on Earth through condemning anything or anyone. We will do so by embracing it all, thus alchemizing our own internal shadows and letting our external reality reflect the new way of being back to us.
