MindAstronaut is an awesome new community that explores ancient wisdom, sacred ritual and modern technology to access and understand Being through all dimensions. If you are inspired to help build the community, please review the content submission guidelines below. Adhering to the following guidelines when submitting content will significantly increase your opportunity to be approved for publication on the MindAstronaut platforms.
Submission Guidelines
general
Originality:
When contributing to the MindAstronaut platforms, or storing content through your MindAstronaut editorial account, you agree that all content is original and/or will fully complies with federal Copyright and Trademark laws. It is important to prevent potential infringement on the rights of others who may own certain aspects of intellectual property. MindAstronaut will reserve the right to decline or cease the publication of any content which is deemed in violation.
Review Process:
An in-house editorial panel reviews all articles; occasionally, an article may be sent to an outside reviewer for additional input. In general, this process takes approximately four weeks. You will receive notification by e-mail as to whether MindAstronaut is interested in publishing your content.
Copyright:
If content is accepted for digital or print publication, an "Assignment of Copyright" form will be sent to you. It must be signed and returned before we can publish your work. This form ensures that you have not overly published your work elsewhere and that if it is published subsequently in any non-MindAstronaut format or platform, it must include acknowledgement of the MindAstronaut publication in which it originally appeared. This also allows MindAstronaut to protect you from those who would attempt to republish your content without permission.
Publishing Timeline:
MindAstronaut, like most publishers, has a backlog of content waiting to be published. As a result, newly accepted content may not immediately be published, unless it is a news item or is otherwise time-critical. We make every effort to publish all accepted content on a timely basis, and will contact you as soon as your content has been scheduled for publication. We do not base placement of content on any scheduled advertising; any instances in which editorial content appears similar to an advertisement are strictly coincidental.
Note: Submissions may be rejected if they contain content that is inappropriate or inflammatory.
article submission
Originality:
Articles submitted to MindAstronaut must not have been previously published or submitted to any more than 2 other publishers.
Promotion:
Articles must not be commercial or promotional with respect to any specific product or service. If an article is publishable but contains promotional content, we will request that the author resubmit the article after such references have been removed or reworded. Doing so protects the legitimacy of your article in the eyes of our readership. See credentials section for company affiliation stipulations.
Length:
Length varies greatly depending on topic. We recommend a length of approximately 650 words and no longer than 2,000 words, typed, single-spaced. Longer articles may be broken up into a series of shorter posts.
Formatting:
We prefer Microsoft Word documents in a 12-point Arial font. If you do not have Word, a Google doc file or equivalent will work. In ALL cases, please include relevant links to online reference materials. Please do not send PDF files. Our editorial board only considers electronic submissions.
Credentials:
Please include verifiable contact and credential information (i.e., curriculum vitae and/or brief biography) with all submissions. We will include a short bio sketch of the author with each published article. Company affiliation as it relates to the article (one mention), and one method of contact (web or e-mail address) are permissible in the author bio only. Reference to specific products, services or proprietary techniques is prohibited
Submitting Video With Your Article:
Video is an increasingly powerful medium for generating reader engagement. To capitalize on this potential, we are encouraging authors to submit video with their articles.
Video Formats
Topic Introduction: A 30 second – 1 minute video that gives an overview of the article, the larger topic being discussed, or otherwise gives insight into its importance / relevance to the focus of the article. (Note: DO NOT introduce yourself in the video; the byline accompanying your article will accomplish that.)
Demonstration: A 45 second – 2 minute video demonstrating a technique, exercise or treatment protocol (non-promotional) discussed in your article.

We value each Contributor's insights and ideas, but in order to maintain an atmosphere of productive dialogue, all videos submissions must adhere to the following guidelines:

We’re looking for videos that give a glimpse into what an amazing multi-dimensional reality we live in. To be considered, it should present a linear informative or entertaining narrative. Other than that, it’s up to you.
Identification:
Review the meta-data properties of your digital file and insert appropriate identifying comments: author, title, and copyright information. Authors retain copyright of videos but MindAstronaut (MA) requires that you sign an agreement allowing MA to distribute the material.
