The Black Knight is a mix of the Pance Datu (sacred 5 metals) with very interesting characteristics. When you get the Chi-O Phi, it looks like a gold brass effect, within a few days after just a few days it begins to darken and eventually becomes antique looking, almost black.

The Chi-O Phi Black Knight turns black because when other metals interact with the gold, they change the property of the gold from reflecting light, to gathering light. Our eyes then perceive the metal as darker, but in reality, it is holding the light in the metal. When more light is stored in the metal, less photons are released back into the environment and reach our eyes.
